About your job:

Our app is the starting point for all our users. It's also the main communication tool we have with them, showing where they can find available bikes, set up their payments, view their trip history, report broken bikes, etc.

The iOS app has a lot of challenges: be available for all iOS users, communicate using internet and bluetooth channels, gps localization of users and bikes, run background processes, integrate with other apps, etc.

You'll be working with a great team, including founders of 99, the first brazilian unicorn, and the former CEO of Caloi. Check out what the press is saying about yellow: G1, Folha de SP, CatracaLivre.

Here you are going to be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain our iOS app
  • Understand and foresee our users requirements
  • Work closely with backend and Android developers to design service interfaces and improvements
  • Keep our app up-to-date with the latest technologies from Apple

Double click in your routine:

  • Develop new features and fix bugs in our swift-based app code
  • Support the product team on app design decisions
  • Keep our source organized in our git repository
  • Collaborate in building and enforcing the roadmap
  • Manage and prioritize your tasks efficiently
  • Keep our app updated in our alpha and beta testing environments

Our requirements for this position are:

  • 4+ years experience in iOS development
  • Advanced Object Oriented skills
  • Advanced Objective-C and Swift languages skills
  • MVP or MVVM experience
  • Dominance of RESTful concepts
  • Hands on experience with development best practices (testing, code-review, etc)
  • Strong sense of commitment and delivery focus
  • Must love bikes ;)
